P40 WITH OR WITHOUT CHECK VALVE ON EACH SPOOL SECTION?.

So when opting for the safety check valve at each spool section what you are in laymen terms doing is that you are ,are hindering the so called back flow or also called reverse flow.

On the P40 valve you can order with or without the added check valve option.

For additional safety the check valve is always a good option, even if it really is not needed on most machine options that used the P40 model.

On bigger valves and flows over 50 lpm there is certainly a bigger need to have valves on with check valves on certain options.

If you have a let us say 89-95 lpm valve that does not offer the check valve options, you can still for instance on Palfinger or HIAB and Cargotech cranes use the over center valve option as added on safety to the system as a whole.

So this is one of the really nice features or the P40 model from Nordvalves hydraulic components that you can as a customer opt with or without check valves on each section.

So how does the order coding work with and without check valves on the P40 valve model.

So normally the valve comes without and if you want the standard model without check valve then you put a zero 0 in from of the model code.

So let us say that you order a standard valve two bank mono-block P40 version.

Then the code is 02P40 , if you opt for the check valve option then the code is 2P40, kind of simple dont you think.

We strive to keep our customers with simpler order codes rather than giving out strange model numbers that are only confusing the customers and end-users.

A lot of valve producers wants you to be forced to back to where you purchases the valve to be able to figure out exactly what kind of modification you have on the valve.

And this is of course a business decision that the producers have made to force you to remain loyal to one vendor in your local area.

So it is good to keep in mind that you can always opt for extra safety if needed when working on a P40 model from Nordvalves.
